Appointment Policies
Initial Osteopathy Appointments
Initial Appointments are booked in forty-five (45) minute time slots. Please note, you will not be treated for 45 minutes. This time include the meet and great portion, health history review, answering questions, assessment and treatment, future bookings, and payment.
Follow-Up Osteopathy Appointments
Follow-Up appointments are booked in thirty (30) minute time slots. Please note, you will not be treated for 30 minutes. This time includes a health history review, answering questions, assessment and treatment, future bookings, and payment.
What If I am running late?
If you are running late, please call ahead to inform the practitioner. If they can squeeze you in, they will be happy to do so. Exceptions are up to the practitioner’s discretion and if their schedule allows. If you arrive 15 minutes late for a follow-up appointment, you will have 15 minutes of a follow-up appointment available to you. You will be charged the full price of a follow-up appointment ($70.00 + Tax). The above applies to the initial appointment as well.
Feeling sick?
If you are feeling unwell 24 hours before the appointment, please cancel in time. Osteopathic manual therapy works to improve fluid movement and may improve immunity and congestion. If you believe your symptoms to be onsetting you may come for treatment.
Cancellation Policy
You must contact your respective practitioner outside of the 24-hour window for your appointment. For example, your appointment is on Tuesday at 10am. You must e-mail or call your practitioner on Monday, of that week, before 10am. Any patients that do not follow this rule will be charged at their next appointment. Exceptions include family emergencies, etc. If a patient is consistently missing appointments (even while meeting the cancellation policy), their current standing in the clinic will be reassessed. Charges for missed appointments are not billable through your insurance provider.
